Profile: Lars Mester obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the RWTH Aachen University, Germany. In the Nano-Optics group of Prof. Thomas Taubner, Lars wrote his Master’s theses on nanoscale mid-infrared spectroscopy of nano-structured phase-change materials relevant for non-volatile data storage applications. Currently he is a PhD student at CIC nanoGUNE in San Sebastian, Spain, under the supervision of Prof. Rainer Hillenbrand
