Background: Micro- and Nanosystems, Solid State Physics
Profile: Jonas Hafner completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics at the Saarland University in Germany. His bachelor and master thesis deal with the behaviour of ferroic materials. He chose to continue his studies in the field of ferroelectric materials and their applications for micro- and nanosystems at the Institute of Sensor and Actuator Systems (ISAS) at TU Wien (TUW) in Austria, where he acquired experiences in the simulation, fabrication and characterization of micro- and nanosystems. He is currently working as a Marie-Curie pre-doctoral fellow at ISAS under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Schmid
ETN Topic: Fabrication and characterization of atomic force microscopy probes
